The Digital Food Factory is located in the water tower of the former Menko textile factory, in the historic Roombeek district in Enschede. Since 2021, it has been home to Het Foodatelier, DiDutch, and MetaChef. Three companies that complement each other from their own expertise and share a passion for food and technology.

It's no coincidence that we are located in the creative and entrepreneurial Roombeek; a location full of activity surrounded by history and industrial heritage. Since the fireworks disaster in 2000, the district (transformed by architect Pi de Bruijn) has become the place where living and working are optimally combined, in a city internationally known for its technology and innovation.

Smart, effective and committed

In the Digital Food Factory, strategists, designers, and developers work on commercial issues that are directly or indirectly related to food. From growth strategies, packaging design, and product development to innovative 3D solutions. The location has, among other things, a development kitchen, a technical workshop, a VR lab, and a 3D factory.
